OH SR 7 Emergency Slide
Category: Highway/Road Construction
Cast & Baker worked with the Ohio Department of Transportation to complete a multi-year repair of approximately one mile of failed rock face along Ohio State Route 7. Spanning three years, the project involved extensive clearing and grubbing, large-scale excavation and removal of rock and earth, and the installation of comprehensive erosion and sediment control measures. Crews managed continuous traffic flow with miles of temporary concrete barrier setup and removal, ensuring safety and accessibility throughout construction. The project concluded with roadway reconstruction and asphalt paving, restoring both the stability and functionality of this critical transportation corridor.
