The Highlands Development

The project began with the bulk excavation of over 3 million cubic yards of material and full site preparation for the construction of a regional distribution center for Cabela’s. Initial development included building pad preparation, installation of a permanent stormwater management impoundment, and complete storm sewer, sanitary, and waterline installations to support long-term site operations.

Following the initial phase, additional projects were completed across the site to support further expansion. These included mass excavation, subgrade construction, extensive stormwater drainage installation, retaining wall construction, concrete placement, and full pavement preparation and paving. Sitework supported the development of two major distribution centers as well as multiple retail and business outlets within the larger complex.

Throughout each phase, careful coordination and attention to detail ensured the successful delivery of critical infrastructure for a growing regional hub.
